Dear Students,
There is a chance for you to feature your media art projects in a prominent location of our CMA Lab area. We are installing a naked-eye 3D display (see the yellow part in the rendered picture) near the reception desk, which will be one of the first thing nearly all visitors see.
We now issue a call for artwork to be shown on this naked-eye 3D display. Selected works will be exhibited on the display for various time slots, and the best work will also receive a prize (amount to be specified soon). We are looking for short moving image artworks that best demonstrate the unique features of naked-eye 3D display to create a refreshing and intriguing effect, and also showcase high visual and artistic quality to reflect the caliber of CMA.
Artwork Specs:
Length: roughly 2 to 10 minutes long or a loop.
Resolution: 2880 * 2880
Format: in .mp4 or .mov format and under 2GB in size.
Submission: Please send your files using a file transfer or online drive link (Google Drive, Baidu Drive, WeTransfer, CowTransfer, etc) to ruihu@ust.hk
Selection and Prize: Selected works will be exhibited on the display for various time slots during the academic year, and the best work selected by CMA faculty will receive a prize of 2000 RMB.
